DESCRIPTION
For rooms without a chimney or flue then a balanced flue fire may be the ideal option.
There are two types:
1. Outset. These sit on the wall and protrude into the room, hence the name.
2. Inset. These are fitted into the wall.
Both types need to situated on an outside wall and require an adjacent gas point. They
have a glass front and do not need a mains electricity supply. Alternatively, if there is no
outside wall then see the section on flueless gas fire.
