Please read the following information which will assist you during this period of time.

Should your fire cease to work please refer to your fire handbook for useful information. A very common fault for battery ignition gas fires such as slide control and remote control models is that the battery has run out, and a replacement will fix the issue.

With remote control fires there are batteries in the handset and the fire. The battery in the fire is usually located behind the ash pan cover.

Some fires require 1 x 9V battery others require 1,4 or 6 AA batteries. Heavy duty batteries such as Energizer Ultra or Duracell PLus are recommended, especially for remote control fires.

If you are unable to find your handbook many manufacturers now have handbooks on their websites. If you are unsure on your fire details, they are located on your fire.

Advice on common boiler issues can also be found on manufacturer websites.
